Setting up Other Mail Clients

If you are using a mail client that is not listed in the E-mail Clients Setup section, you can configure it with the following general values:

  • Username - The full e-mail address (ie. joe@abcdomain.com)
  • Password - The password you specified when you created the mail account
  • Server type (POP3 or IMAP) - We recommend you choose POP3 for simplicity, but IMAP works as well
  • Incoming (POP3/IMAP) server - mail.yourdomain.com, replace yourdomain.com is your domain name
  • Outgoing (SMTP) server - Your ISP's Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server
  • Use SSL or TLS for POP3/IMAP - We recommend it, but it is not necessary
  • Use Secure Password Authentication (SPA) - Set to "no" or "disabled"
