Setting up Microsoft Outlook
From OCS Support Wiki
[edit] Introduction
The instructions below detail the steps necessary to setup an account in Microsoft Outlook 2007. If you have a previous version, the setup will be similar.
[edit] Instructions
Start Microsoft Outlook. Once it's started, click on the Tools menu and choose Account Settings from the menu, as shown below:
The Account Settings window will appear. Click the New icon to setup the account, then select "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP" and click Next.
In the following dialog, fill in the details shown, putting your name, e-mail address hosted with us, and your e-mail password. Be sure and check "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and click Next.
In the screen that follows, make sure "Internet E-mail" is selected and click Next. You'll then be presented with a screen similar to below:
The fields above have been filled in with sample data. Some values will be copied over from the steps previously, but you will need to enter your Incoming Mail Server, which should be mail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your domain name. For your outgoing mail server, enter your ISP's SMTP (outgoing) mail server. Enter your e-mail address for the username, as shown above, and enter your password.
You can use this opportunity to click "Test Account Settings" and test your settings. If everything checks out OK, you have successfully setup your account with Outlook. Click Next, then Finish, and Close to close the "Account Settings" window to return to Outlook.
